Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arturo Peña started the match with the kick off. Erick Galdamez might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erick Galdamez ran back to his position shaking his head. Joselito Flamenco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Oscar Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes of play, Brentwood's Arturo Peña made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose García was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erick Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erick Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Brentwood getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Erick Alvarez hit a great ball. Jose García showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Peña, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jaime Flamenco hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Joselito Flamenco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Santana having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Peña in the 31st minute of play forced Guatemala Boys's goalkeeper Jose García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Brentwood's Erick Alvarez got a free kick in the 34th minute. Oscar Santana came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Guatemala Boys's Joselito Flamenco. But to his dismay, Joselito Flamenco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Joselito Flamenco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Joselito Flamenco made the kick off in the second half. Erick Galdamez charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 52nd minute Arturo Peña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose García saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose García took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Peña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Guatemala Boys's goal looked a bit too open when David Jimenez came free, but Jose García reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joselito Flamenco charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Guatemala Boys's Wilmer Uranga got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Joselito Flamenco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Santana. The goal made the score 3-2. Joselito Flamenco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Erick Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joselito Flamenco in the 96th minute. Many of Guatemala Boys's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Guatemala Boys may have spent more time on the ball, but Brentwood were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
