Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, North Baddesley's Ricardo Machado got a free kick in the 8th minute. Fidel Ochoa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paolo Coreas. North Baddesley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 11 played minutes Chester got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Ancheta. Ramon Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Llorente in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chester's zone, Cristian Llorente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Figueroa came out of the goal and Cristian Llorente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Coreas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Chester's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Llorente came free, but Ramon Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deris Hurtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Coreas having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match Oscar Galeas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Coreas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Januario Barquero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chester's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arturo Guerra was slow to take the kick. During this time North Baddesley's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Arturo Guerra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chester's Ramon Figueroa did a great save. After 38 played minutes, North Baddesley's Ulises Liborio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramon Figueroa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in North Baddesley reached it. Douglas Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Santamaria in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Figueroa saved Chester from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 53 minutes, Douglas Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Rivas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes, Dagoberto Escalante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Baddesley and the Chester players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Dagoberto Escalante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Rivas in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Coreas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramon Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Llorente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Coreas having to interfere. A collision led to Chester getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Danilo Ancheta hit a great ball. When Hugo Santamaria, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 75 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ramon Figueroa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Deris Hurtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Coreas was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Chester's Ramon Figueroa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Chester from getting a goal against them. After 83 played minutes Chester got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Fornos. Hugo Santamaria struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ramon Figueroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Baddesley. 90 minutes into the game, Danilo Ancheta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Baddesley the free kick. Hugo Santamaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hugo Santamaria came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the North Baddesley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Santamaria couldn't finish the play. Chester's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
