William Del Cid hit a great ball. Holton-le-Clay were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Walmley City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Noyola took the corner. After a rather tough play, Holton-le-Clay's Leonel Pérez got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Walmley City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Holton-le-Clay were winning 0-2.

If Danilo Liborio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Orellana in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin Escobar saved Holton-le-Clay from getting behind. Edwin Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Liborio in the 88th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Holton-le-Clay walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
