Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Avilio Mendez got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Avilio Mendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 3rd match minute, Ilford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6thth minute of the game Avilio Mendez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ilford FC's Alberto Escalante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jonathan Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avilio Mendez in the 12th minute of play forced Ilford FC's goalkeeper Alberto Escalante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ilford FC's Allan Ventura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilmer Alas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Escalante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jonathan Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Escalante having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ilford FC's goalkeeper Alberto Escalante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ilford FC defense, Avilio Mendez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Escalante. The Ilford FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Escalante should have stopped the shot. Allan Ventura's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Wilmer Alas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wilmer Alas made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Allan Ventura sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Ilford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Avilio Mendez came free, but Alberto Escalante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Alberto Escalante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Jonathan Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alston FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Enrique Ancheta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ilford FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alston FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amilcar Arango stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Amilcar Arango who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alston FC's Wilmer Alas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Alston FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amilcar Arango came free, but Wilmer Alas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milton Dubon kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ilford FC's zone, Avilio Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Escalante came out of the goal and Avilio Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Escalante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avilio Mendez in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Allan Ventura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Avilio Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute of the match, Milton Dubon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alberto Escalante was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wilmer Alas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Ventura's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Ilford FC's Alberto Escalante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avilio Mendez in the 78th minute of play. When Ilford FC's Amilcar Arango in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alston FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute, Enrique Ancheta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Escalante acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Giovani Alvarenga. In the 95th minute, Allan Ventura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Alston FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ilford FC throughout the match.
