When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Peyami Özbek took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alberto Escalante to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Alberto Escalante successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Ilford FC's Alvaro Guerra got a free kick in the 9th minute. Alberto Escalante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peyami Özbek's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Alberto Escalante successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alberto Escalante was a little too slow when Peyami Özbek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ilford FC's zone, Peyami Özbek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Escalante came out of the goal and Peyami Özbek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, ＧＵＡＴＥＭＡＬＡ ＣＩＴＹ's Baltazar Valenzuela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Peyami Özbek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Escalante having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Amilcar Arango notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ＧＵＡＴＥＭＡＬＡ ＣＩＴＹ's Hugo Zelaya. Hugo Zelaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Ilford FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Leopoldo Lozano hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Ilford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Villatoro came free, but Alberto Escalante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peyami Özbek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When ＧＵＡＴＥＭＡＬＡ ＣＩＴＹ's Peyami Özbek in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alberto Escalante guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Alberto Escalante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peyami Özbek went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the game, Patricio Cerna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Alberto Escalante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Escalante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Cerna in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Peyami Özbek notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Ilford FC's Alberto Escalante. Alberto Escalante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Cerna in the 67th minute of play forced Ilford FC's goalkeeper Alberto Escalante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Escalante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peyami Özbek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peyami Özbek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Escalante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Villatoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 78th match minute, Ilford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zelvin Murgas to maneuver through the defense. Zelvin Bran kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Peyami Özbek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Escalante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Escalante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyami Özbek in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peyami Özbek in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Escalante saved Ilford FC from getting behind. Allan Ventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Zelaya having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ＧＵＡＴＥＭＡＬＡ ＣＩＴＹ had played much better football throughout.
