Wokingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Rico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Montes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Rico in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Max Montes saved Murcielagos FC from getting behind. Murcielagos FC's Max Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Rico in the 32nd minute of play. Jorge Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Montes having to interfere. Diego Noyola charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Noyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Diego Noyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Aguirrez struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Max Montes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wokingham. After 42 played minutes Murcielagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Odir Hidalgo. Leonel Aguirrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Hinguanzo was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Murcielagos FC's goalkeeper Max Montes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Aguirrez. Max Montes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Aguirrez in the 57th minute. Leonel Aguirrez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Montes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Murcielagos FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Odir Hidalgo hit a great ball. Max Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Rico in the 95th minute of the match. When Jorge Rico came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Wokingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Rico couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Wokingham could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Murcielagos FC throughout the match.
