Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Efren Henriquez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Manuel Coria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amilcar Santana having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Manuel Coria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Efren Henriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Hinguanzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Max Hidalgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Mauricio Ventura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gomersal getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dagoberto Alferez hit a great ball. Manuel Coria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Amilcar Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Hinguanzo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Max Hidalgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gomersal. Efren Henriquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efren Henriquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Nottingham got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Lara. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Coria made a kick off. Efrain Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Amilcar Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gomersal's Edgar Valenzuela got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Nottingham's goalkeeper Max Hidalgo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Hinguanzo. In the 68th minute, Efrain Osorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Coria struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Coria in the 71st minute of play forced Gomersal's goalkeeper Amilcar Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efren Henriquez in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Hidalgo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Efren Henriquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
