When Marcos Madariaga fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yate City's protests and gave Marcos Madariaga a yellow card for diving instead. When Efrain Henriquez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 8 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ulises Aguilar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Yate City's Alvaro Madariaga got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Misael Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yate City's supporters rose to their feet, but Misael Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Viscarra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Castillo in the 14th minute of play forced Brockenhurst City's goalkeeper Victorino Viscarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Brockenhurst City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Henriquez to maneuver through the defense. When Yate City's Misael Cruz in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Agustin Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th match minute, Yate City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Madariaga to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Efrain Henriquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Aguilar was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Ulises Aguilar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Guzman in the 40th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. Misael Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Viscarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Misael Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yate City's supporters rose to their feet, but Misael Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Misael Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Victorino Viscarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Brockenhurst City's Efrain Henriquez in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Victorino Viscarra came out of the goal and Misael Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
