In the 42nd minute of the match Salvador Boianelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Gallardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Francisco Gallardo came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Warrington United's Ricardo Fornos. But to his dismay, Ricardo Fornos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

Swadlincote's Nelson Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Zaldaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes of play, Warrington United's Ricardo Fornos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Gallardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardo Fornos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Francisco Gallardo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Ruiz in the 65th minute of play forced Warrington United's goalkeeper Arturo Ulloa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Ulloa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Ruiz in the 67th minute of play. Lorenzo Zaldaña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Ulloa having to make a save. Lorenzo Zaldaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Ulloa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Luis Renderos hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Arturo Ulloa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Ruiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Nelson Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Ulloa having to interfere. Swadlincote's Nelson Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Lorenzo Zaldaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Warrington United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benji Barraza to maneuver through the defense. After 98 played minutes Warrington United got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Umaña. In the 99th minute, Lorenzo Zaldaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Warrington United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
