Rolando Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Hidalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Hurtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Ramirez having to interfere. Emiliano Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Quijada's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Lowton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Calderon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo García hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Henry Calderon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Morecambe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lowton were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dagoberto Quijada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lowton's Dagoberto Quijada pulled a muscle in his back after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 65 minutes, Augusto Cortez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morecambe and the Lowton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafael Hurtado ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the match, Lowton's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Hidalgo came free, but Rolando Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Hidalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lowton played a much better game than Morecambe and deserved their victory. The Morecambe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
