Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) Lowton's Dagoberto Quijada started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dagoberto Quijada was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 17 minutes, Milton Costas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lowton and the Earlestown United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Lowton's zone, Emiliano Palma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Ramirez came out of the goal and Emiliano Palma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Lowton's Dagoberto Quijada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sarbelio Garay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Lowton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Verdugo to maneuver through the defense. When Henry Calderon came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Lowton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Calderon couldn't finish the play. Earlestown United's Edgardo Oporto got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Will Giron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Oporto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Will Giron might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Ramirez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Will Giron ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Oporto was the one to do the kick off. Sarbelio Garay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Calderon, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Paolo Uranga scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Ramirez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Ramirez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Will Giron in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Earlestown United's zone, Henry Calderon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sarbelio Garay came out of the goal and Henry Calderon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Will Giron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Earlestown United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Will Giron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgardo Oporto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Ramirez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Earlestown United booed when Lowton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Fornos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edgardo Oporto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lowton's Rolando Ramirez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Lowton from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute Henry Calderon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarbelio Garay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Calderon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
