Benjamín Zelaya did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Francisco Alvarado 17 minutes into the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Cesar Hurtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuddington's Francisco Alvarado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Cuddington's Francisco Alvarado got control of the ball when Benjamín Zelaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Cuddington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennys Portillo to maneuver through the defense. Benjamín Zelaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Ramon Corrales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Hinguanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas Galdamez during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 40 minutes into the game, one of Cuddington:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An annoying self made goal, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of South Kilworth booed when Cuddington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Barquero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Cesar Hurtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuddington's Francisco Alvarado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramon Corrales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
