Januario Cortez, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. C.S.D Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamín Portillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Uranga made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Richard Ruiz. When C.S.D Municipal's Odir Zepeda in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Eastcote United getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mario Baptista hit a great ball. In the 48th match minute, Eastcote United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Pedrozo to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Odir Zepeda was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Mario Baptista made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Peña. C.S.D Municipal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mario Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Peña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Guillermo Molina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Odir Zepeda went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Eastcote United booed when C.S.D Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Madariaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Victor Pineda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Peña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the C.S.D Municipal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eastcote United.
