Carmelo Palma hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Alfredo Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Bermudez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Harold Hill AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Bermudez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Toledano in the 12th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Guastatoya's goalkeeper Erick Galeas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Harold Hill AFC booed when Club Deportivo Guastatoya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erick Galeas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Toledano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eraldo Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Toledano took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erick Galeas. Erick Galeas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 33rd match minute, Club Deportivo Guastatoya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Villatoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Josue Padilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Deportivo Guastatoya's Oscar Villatoro suffered a fractured collar bone after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alfredo Bermudez was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Club Deportivo Guastatoya booed when Harold Hill AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Sigaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Giovani Pineda in the 41st minute really tested Alejandro Valenzuela's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 44 minutes, Deris Braun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harold Hill AFC and the Club Deportivo Guastatoya players grew even worse after the yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Harold Hill AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Salvador Sigaran hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Harold Hill AFC's zone, Eraldo Hidalgo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Valenzuela came out of the goal and Eraldo Hidalgo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Valenzuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Hidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Harold Hill AFC's Deris Braun got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Eraldo Hidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Valenzuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Deportivo Guastatoya booed when Harold Hill AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience was convinced that Eraldo Hidalgo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Valenzuela was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Zapata got free with Erick Galeas in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Efrain Zapata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Erick Galeas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Zapata got free with Erick Galeas in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salvador Sigaran got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd match minute, Harold Hill AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Sigaran to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Valenzuela came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Guastatoya's Eraldo Hidalgo. But to his dismay, Eraldo Hidalgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Eraldo Hidalgo scored 2-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Valenzuela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Club Deportivo Guastatoya players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
