Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rudy Dubon got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Pedro Henriquez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stretford's Yasir Bonilla. Yasir Bonilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Henriquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yasir Bonilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match, Rudy Dubon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Duarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute, Emiliano Quijada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Oswaldo Tobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yasir Bonilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Pedro Henriquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poulton-Le-Fylde United's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Henriquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yasir Bonilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rony García scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yasir Bonilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolás Garay kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Dubon in the 22nd minute of play forced Poulton-Le-Fylde United's goalkeeper Daniel Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rony García sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yasir Bonilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Luis Cerritos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Amilcar Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rony García fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasir Bonilla having to interfere. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Pedro Henriquez sped through Stretford's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yasir Bonilla. If Amilcar Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When Rony García came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Poulton-Le-Fylde United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony García couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, Pedro Henriquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Amilcar Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poulton-Le-Fylde United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amilcar Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Henriquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Pedro Henriquez put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Yasir Bonilla. Pedro Henriquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Yasir Bonilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amilcar Morales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes, Luis Cerritos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stretford and the Poulton-Le-Fylde United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Stretford got a freekick which was hit by Luis Cerritos. A collision led to Poulton-Le-Fylde United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nicolás Garay hit a great ball. Yasir Bonilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amilcar Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Pedro Henriquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Yasir Bonilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Henriquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Henriquez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Amilcar Morales had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Luis Cerritos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Stretford's Luis Cerritos got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Rony García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poulton-Le-Fylde United played a much better game than Stretford and deserved their victory. The Stretford players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
