Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's Baltazar Gallardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Ortiz in the 20th minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match, Giovani Mondragon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orlando Machado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 46 minutes into the match, Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Cruz came free, but Baltazar Gallardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cesar Cruz made the kick off in the second half. Cesar Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltazar Gallardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's Oscar Salguero got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 66 played minutes Soul´s Anchor Tattoo got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Mondragon. A hard shot 68 in the game by Roberto Ortiz from a close distance when the talented Baltazar Gallardo managed to make a qualified save. Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's players were relieved. Baltazar Gallardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Ocampo in the 71st minute. Oscar Salguero kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match.
