Saul Zepeda scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efren Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efren Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Portillo in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Lower Stondon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Zepeda to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Mauro Villalobos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danilo Sifon, 2-1. In the 19th minute of the match, Marcelo Zaldaña tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Danilo Sifon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 20 played minutes Lower Stondon got a freekick which was hit by Rene Talia. If Marcelo Zaldaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efren Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Lower Stondon booed when Holloway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Villacorta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milton Escobar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Efren Pinho. Holloway's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Efren Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Zepeda in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Portillo in the 39th minute of play forced Holloway's goalkeeper Efren Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Zepeda kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Eliseo Sandoval kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Zaldaña made a kick off. Efren Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasir Verdugo in the 52nd minute of play. Danilo Sifon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Zaldaña in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Marcelo Zaldaña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lower Stondon's Danilo Sifon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Zaldaña in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Sifon saved Lower Stondon from getting behind. When Yasir Verdugo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lower Stondon's protests and gave Yasir Verdugo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Yasir Verdugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Portillo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Holloway's Efren Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Holloway from getting a goal against them. Danilo Sifon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Zaldaña in the 73rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Marcelo Zaldaña put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Sifon. Leonel Pacheco might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efren Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonel Pacheco ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Portillo in the 79th minute of play forced Holloway's goalkeeper Efren Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holloway's Efren Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Holloway from getting a goal against them. Holloway's Marcelo Zaldaña got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efren Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Portillo in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Holloway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shawn Orozco to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Leonel Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lower Stondon's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Pacheco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efren Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lower Stondon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Holloway.
