Ilford's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Adolfo Muñoz scored to the left of an out of position Camilo Cerritos, making the score, 1-0. In the 48th minute, Andrés Bonilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soul´s Anchor Tattoo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Joselito Ortiz took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Cerritos. Camilo Cerritos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Eraldo Oporto struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Baltazar Gallardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilford. In the 94th minute, Yasir Del Carmen made a precise shot to the right of Baltazar Gallardo. Soul´s Anchor Tattoo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Ivan Talia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Soul´s Anchor Tattoo fully deserved thier win.
