Alberto Ochoa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Edgardo Escobar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingatestone. Edgardo Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Mayen in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Hector Cabrera made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. When Nicolás Mayen came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ingatestone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolás Mayen couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Hector Cabrera fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgardo Escobar, passed just outside the right post.

Hector Cabrera scored 4-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Escobar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolás Mayen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Escobar having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wootton Bassett's zone, Nicolás Mayen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Escobar came out of the goal and Nicolás Mayen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hector Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Escobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Mayen, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
