Ilford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolás Mayen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Camilo Cerritos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Cabrera went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Ilford's zone, Nicolás Mayen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Cerritos came out of the goal and Nicolás Mayen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ilford getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Yasir Del Carmen hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Hector Cabrera put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Cerritos. The crowd rose to their feet as Hector Cabrera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Cerritos. That made the score 8-0 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eraldo Oporto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Nicolás Mayen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Cerritos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the Ingatestone and the Ilford players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Cerritos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Pinho in the 70th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Cabrera in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Cerritos saved Ilford from getting behind. When Ingatestone's Nicolás Mayen in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilford's goalie prevented a goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Ochoa couldn't finish the play. Camilo Cerritos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolás Mayen's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Ilford's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Cabrera came free, but Camilo Cerritos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingatestone's Alberto Ochoa got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingatestone's Mariano Castaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Oporto in the 98th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ingatestone had played much better football throughout.
