Newlyn East AFC's Orlando Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Galdamez in the 8th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Eraldo Salguero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Newlyn East AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sarbelio Guerrero hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Newlyn East AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Galdamez came free, but Orlando Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bowburn FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jorge Alfaro hit a great ball. Bowburn FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Marvin Alfaro scored to the left of an out of position Eraldo Salguero, making the score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Waldir Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bowburn FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Galdamez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Sanchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Bowburn FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Bowburn FC's Christian Sandoval looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Christian Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Orlando Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Salguero came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Newlyn East AFC's Waldir Llorente. But to his dismay, Waldir Llorente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Bowburn FC's Marvin Portillo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marvin Alfaro in the 44th minute of play forced Bowburn FC's goalkeeper Eraldo Salguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Mayen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Sanchez having to interfere. Sarbelio Garay hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Sandoval made a kick off. Eraldo Salguero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marvin Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Mayen in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Sanchez saved Newlyn East AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Newlyn East AFC's Baltazar Barreto got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Waldir Galdamez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Mayen in the 68th minute of play. If Manuel Mayen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Christian Sandoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eraldo Salguero came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Newlyn East AFC's Waldir Llorente. But to his dismay, Waldir Llorente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Bowburn FC's Christian Sandoval got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Sanchez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldir Galdamez in the 88th minute. The long shot by Waldir Galdamez in the 93rd minute really tested Orlando Sanchez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Newlyn East AFC's Marvin Alfaro got a free kick in the 94th minute. The supporters of Newlyn East AFC booed when Bowburn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarbelio Garay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Newlyn East AFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Bowburn FC for much of the match.
