When Abraham Sandoval came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cóban Imperial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Sandoval couldn't finish the play. Manuel Mayen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Milton Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jhonnatan Carranza's late challenge caught a Bowburn FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jhonnatan Carranza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cóban Imperial's Jhonnatan Carranza got a free kick in the 24th minute. Christian Sandoval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Padilla having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Cóban Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Sandoval came free, but Milton Padilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Cóban Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Ancheta. After having played for 32 minutes, Waldir Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bowburn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Galdamez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Waldir Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bowburn FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Galdamez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milton Padilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Jhonnatan Carranza could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Eraldo Salguero however easily saved by the left post. If Rudy Bonilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Abraham Sandoval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jhonnatan Carranza got free with Eraldo Salguero in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldir Galdamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Milton Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abraham Sandoval to make the kick off. Eraldo Salguero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jhonnatan Carranza, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Cóban Imperial's Sarbelio Cerritos got a free kick in the 96th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
