An unexpectedly hard shot by William Posadas in the 10th minute of play forced Felixstowe's goalkeeper Efren Garay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Angel Lima fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Felixstowe's protests and gave Angel Lima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Angel Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Felixstowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Muñoz to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Umaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Puerto San José's goal looked a bit too open when David Prado came free, but Mariano Umaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Umaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Alejandro Erazo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes, Emiliano Collado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puerto San José and the Felixstowe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Puerto San José's Emiliano Collado got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Jhalmar Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Felixstowe's protests and gave Jhalmar Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. Jhalmar Figueroa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Muñoz during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Felixstowe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Puerto San José:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Prado to make the kick off. David Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Umaña having to interfere. Felixstowe's Efren Garay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrés Peredes in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Felixstowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Bautista to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, William Posadas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerto San José's supporters rose to their feet, but William Posadas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efren Garay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Umaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Mariano Umaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Prado in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Wilmer Dubon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efren Garay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrés Peredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Umaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Prado in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Muñoz in the 84th minute of play forced Puerto San José's goalkeeper Mariano Umaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Umaña came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Felixstowe's David Prado. But to his dismay, David Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ladislao Bautista hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Felixstowe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Puerto San José for a fine match.
