Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Galdamez got free with Egun Alzaga in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eraldo Salguero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Nakoneczny in the 14th minute of the match. When Aime Vinx fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Bowburn FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabien Plaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nereo Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Salguero having to interfere. The supporters of Leytonstone FC booed when Bowburn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Sandoval to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Bowburn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aime Vinx came free, but Eraldo Salguero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eraldo Salguero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Leytonstone FC's Fabien Plaza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eraldo Salguero. That made the score 0-4 after 81 minutes of play. Egun Alzaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Bowburn FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leytonstone FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
