An unexpectedly hard shot by Marvin Alfaro in the 17th minute of play forced Worcester Park AFC's goalkeeper Rudy Talia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Newlyn East AFC's Alfredo Menjivar got a free kick in the 20th minute. Eliseo Gallardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Newlyn East AFC's zone, Eliseo Gallardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Sanchez came out of the goal and Eliseo Gallardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Quintanilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Orlando Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Eliseo Gallardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Miguel Quintanilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Emerson Botello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudy Talia skillfully saved the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Omar Boianelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newlyn East AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Worcester Park AFC the free kick. A collision led to Newlyn East AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Omar Boianelli hit a great ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Eliseo Gallardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newlyn East AFC's Orlando Sanchez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Newlyn East AFC's Orlando Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Gallardo in the 36th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Roberto Mora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Sanchez was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Orlando Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Gallardo in the 41st minute of play. If Eliseo Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The wind increased when Marvin Alfaro made the kick off in the second half. Orlando Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Quintanilla in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Gallardo in the 53rd minute of play forced Newlyn East AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Sanchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Sarbelio Coreas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudy Talia skillfully saved the ball. If Waldir Llorente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Newlyn East AFC's Orlando Sanchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Newlyn East AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Eliseo Gallardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
