Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian Sandoval took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ulises Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, Bowburn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Galdamez to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th match minute, CRUZ VERDE CF - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Zelaya to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Del Carmen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eraldo Salguero was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Eraldo Salguero came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by CRUZ VERDE CF - FDFDF's Ulises Cortez. But to his dismay, Ulises Cortez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alfredo Guerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eraldo Salguero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Guerra ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Alfaro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Alfredo Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ulises Cortez came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the CRUZ VERDE CF - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Cortez couldn't finish the play. After 48 minutes of play, CRUZ VERDE CF - FDFDF's Ulises Cortez made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eraldo Salguero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half CRUZ VERDE CF - FDFDF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leopoldo Del Carmen made the kick off in the second half. Christian Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes CRUZ VERDE CF - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Muñoz. Marvin Portillo's late challenge caught a CRUZ VERDE CF - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marvin Portillo helped the player get up and apologised. Eraldo Salguero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Del Carmen in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, CRUZ VERDE CF - FDFDF's Alfredo Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eraldo Salguero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Rudy Najarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ulises Cortez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rudy Najarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Galdamez in the 81st minute of play. Alfredo Guerra took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eraldo Salguero. Eraldo Salguero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Eraldo Salguero made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alfredo Guerra sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute Leopoldo Del Carmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Salguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eraldo Salguero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Del Carmen in the 93rd minute of play. Bowburn FC's Eraldo Salguero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Bowburn FC from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute Ulises Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Salguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
