When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yasir Guevara made a kick off. If Rolando Sigaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Elias Portillo came out of the goal and Jairo Fornos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emerson Ruiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Gallegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Mauricio Berrueta's late challenge caught a Comunicaciones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Berrueta helped the player get up and apologised. Mauricio Berrueta hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Yasir Guevara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emerson Ruiz was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. St.Bees United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
