Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jairo Fornos took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Sigaran in the 3rd minute of play forced Levenshulme's goalkeeper Julio Alfaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Alfaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Sigaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Barragan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Edgardo Melendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Ruiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Fornos in the 23rd minute of play forced Levenshulme's goalkeeper Julio Alfaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Will Alferez in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emerson Ruiz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Will Alferez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Emerson Ruiz made a huge save. Julio Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Fornos in the 37th minute of the match. Jairo Fornos struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Levenshulme's Cristian Huezo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the Levenshulme defense, Rolando Sigaran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Alfaro. The Levenshulme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Alfaro should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Melendez to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Alfaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Berrueta in the 53rd minute. Will Alferez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Ruiz having to make a save. If Jairo Fornos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emerson Ruiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Tobar in the 64th minute of play. Emerson Ruiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Melendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Alferez might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emerson Ruiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Will Alferez ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Levenshulme's Edgardo Melendez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emerson Ruiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Melendez in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Ruiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emerson Ruiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Melendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched St.Bees United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
