Levenshulme's Julio Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marvin Villarreal in the 13th minute of play. Cristian Huezo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Levenshulme's Edgardo Melendez got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Escalante in the 21st minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Escalante to make the kick off. Emiliano Gallardo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. The Levenshulme players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
