Comunicaciones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Kazczyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elias Portillo came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Juniors's Jerry Dhanabalan. But to his dismay, Jerry Dhanabalan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Elias Portillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Kazczyk's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute Sebastian Kazczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudio Cabrera in the 14th minute. A collision led to Comunicaciones FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alexander Gallegos hit a great ball. Comunicaciones FC's Elias Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Kazczyk in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Real Juniors booed when Comunicaciones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Ancheta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Kazczyk in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Portillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
