The Saprimeckbel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 15 minutes, Alvin Murillo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Tres Rios FC's Rodrigo Luna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvin Murillo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Rodrigo Luna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saprimeckbel. The supporters of Saprimeckbel booed when Tres Rios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Paniagua didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Saprimeckbel's Adolfo Redondo tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Ernesto Castillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvin Murillo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Murillo in the 31st minute of play forced Tres Rios FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Murillo in the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tres Rios FC defense, Alvin Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Luna. The Tres Rios FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Luna should have stopped the shot. Alvin Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rodrigo Luna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruben Monge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Saprimeckbel getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ismael Echeverri hit a great ball. Tres Rios FC's Rodrigo Luna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Murillo in the 64th minute of play.
