The audience held their breath when Adolfo Redondo in the 16th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Tito Coronado's left hand side. Saprimeckbel's Alvin Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Reynaldo Lobo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Parra skillfully saved the ball. Alfonso Flores scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerardo Parra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tito Coronado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvin Murillo scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tito Coronado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39 minutes, Alfonso Flores mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baru and the Saprimeckbel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Saprimeckbel booed when Baru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Matarrita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Baru's Leonel Matarrita got a free kick in the 60th minute. Alvin Murillo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tito Coronado. Tito Coronado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 69th minute Ernesto Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Coronado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69th play minutes Alvin Murillo shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Tito Coronado and just under the crossbar into goal. Adolfo Redondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tito Coronado having to interfere. Baru's Tito Coronado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Murillo in the 81st minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Saprimeckbel's Ernesto Castillo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tito Coronado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saprimeckbel's Kazimierz Pionek was substituted for Baltazar Villegas. In the 90th minute Alvin Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Coronado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, one of Baru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Baru. The referee gave Saprimeckbel a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andresito Iniesta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Baru's Tito Coronado. 6-1. There was no doubt that Saprimeckbel were the better team. Saprimeckbel's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
