The audience was convinced that Jason Colon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Minor Murillo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 15 minutes, Jason Colon made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Herradura AFC's Minor Murillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Minor Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Colon in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jason Colon in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Minor Murillo saved Herradura AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jason Colon in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Minor Murillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Palmar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Buenaventura Acuña came free, but Agustin Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 31st minute, but Agustin Castro got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Palmar AFC hanging dry this time. After 34 minutes, Oldemar Solano made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Herradura AFC's Minor Murillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Oldemar Solano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Minor Murillo. Herradura AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oldemar Solano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Uriel Valverde kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oldemar Solano to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Palmar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Camacho came free, but Agustin Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Palmar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pancho Portuguez to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Camacho in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Vicente Camacho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herradura AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Camacho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oldemar Solano struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Minor Murillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmar AFC. Vicente Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Palmar AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pancho Portuguez hit a great ball. Oldemar Solano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minor Murillo having to interfere. Agustin Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buenaventura Acuña, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Camacho in the 86th minute of play forced Palmar AFC's goalkeeper Agustin Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Herradura AFC's Buenaventura Acuña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustin Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Buenaventura Acuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Castro having to interfere. If Buenaventura Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmar AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
