Marco Oreamuno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Sarmiento having to make a save. Isidro Sarmiento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Minor Caballero went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Marco Oreamuno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Sarmiento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilmer Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Saul Merino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Bejuco's goal looked a bit too open when Minor Caballero came free, but Isidro Sarmiento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Bejuco got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Rivera. Marco Oreamuno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Isidro Sarmiento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilmer Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Efrain Gomez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidro Sarmiento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Oreamuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes Bejuco got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Rivera. If Marco Oreamuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Minor Caballero to make the kick off. When Marco Oreamuno came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Herradura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Oreamuno couldn't finish the play. After 62 played minutes Bejuco got a freekick which was hit by Paul Santamaria. Wilmer Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Herradura FC's Saul Merino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Gomez in the 67th minute of play. Minor Caballero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Sarmiento having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Marco Oreamuno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herradura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Oreamuno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Sarmiento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herradura FC's Saul Merino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilmer Martinez in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Heriberto Leiton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Gomez in the 76th minute of play forced Herradura FC's goalkeeper Saul Merino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Matarrita hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Efrain Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Herradura FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Davila. Efrain Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wilmer Martinez struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Saul Merino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bejuco. Herradura FC's Saul Merino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Gomez in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Herradura FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bejuco.
