Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Schmeichel having to interfere. Gold Army 1923's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Vallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Schmeichel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 96th minute. After 97 minutes, Ingvar Vallin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gold Army 1923 and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ingvar Vallin hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
