CD Juventud Hatillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciudad Colon FC the free kick. 8 minutes into the match, Valentin Rohrmoser notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CD Juventud Hatillo's Ronald Ortega. Ronald Ortega was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Napoleon Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Quiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Minor Cartin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 14th playminute. Alberto Hurtado hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. CD Juventud Hatillo's Isidoro Leiton got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Napoleon Bermudez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Leiton went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute Valentin Rohrmoser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Isidoro Leiton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Juventud Hatillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to CD Juventud Hatillo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Diego Cespedes hit a great ball. Ronald Ortega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Rohrmoser, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Isidoro Leiton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciudad Colon FC's Napoleon Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Leiton in the 38th minute of play. CD Juventud Hatillo's Rafael Quiros got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Minor Cartin during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Minor Cartin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olman Ulate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Bermudez having to interfere. When Isidoro Leiton came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the CD Juventud Hatillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Leiton couldn't finish the play. Ciudad Colon FC's Napoleon Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ciudad Colon FC from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Ramirez charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Ramirez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ciudad Colon FC! When Evaristo Huertas fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Juventud Hatillo's protests and gave Evaristo Huertas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CD Juventud Hatillo's Evaristo Huertas got a free kick in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Juventud Hatillo's Isidoro Leiton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Napoleon Bermudez. That made the score 2-4 after 85 minutes of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Isidoro Leiton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Juventud Hatillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Leiton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CD Juventud Hatillo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
