Jaime Saborio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Michael Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Chamberlain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josue Umaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, saprimeckbel's Josue Umaña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heriberto Jarquin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to saprimeckbel getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Maikol Echeverria hit a great ball. Maikol Echeverria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heriberto Jarquin having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Jaco's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Coronado came free, but Heriberto Jarquin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Jaco booed when saprimeckbel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Orozco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maikol Echeverria hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonny Coronado made a kick off. Michael Peralta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When saprimeckbel's Jonny Coronado in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaco's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Eduardo Chavarria took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Reinaldo Chamberlain to make any attempt to save it. When Michael Peralta came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Jaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Peralta couldn't finish the play. Heriberto Jarquin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Coronado in the 72nd minute of play. Jaco's Michael Peralta got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinaldo Chamberlain was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaime Saborio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 80 minute of play. In the 85th minute Josue Umaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heriberto Jarquin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaco's Michael Peralta got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 98 minutes in the game, Michael Peralta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Reinaldo Chamberlain having to interfere. Jaco's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
