Marco Varela started the match with the kick off. Angelin Cespedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maikol Matute having to interfere. Marco Varela was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Angelin Cespedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zancudo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelin Cespedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maikol Matute breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Marco Varela struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Warner Sirias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmar. Freddy Huertas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. David Guevara came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Warner Sirias could save by the left post. After 43 minutes, Maikol Alfaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmar and the Zancudo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Maikol Alfaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Zancudo FC's goalkeeper Warner Sirias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Guevara. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelin Cespedes was the one to do the kick off. Angelin Cespedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Freddy Huertas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maikol Matute. Freddy Huertas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Claudio Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelin Cespedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Guevara struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Warner Sirias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmar. In the 76th minute of the match Palmar got a corner. Zancudo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Avila ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alfredo Villalobos tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Warner Sirias. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 76th minute. In the 82nd minute Marco Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Warner Sirias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Palmar's goal looked a bit too open when Angelin Cespedes came free, but Maikol Matute reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Marco Varela notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Zancudo FC's Warner Sirias. Warner Sirias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Palmar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
