A collision led to Tambor FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Virgilio Sanabria hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Naranjo's Henry Solis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bryan Garita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ramon Viquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paul Picado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Viquez's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Henry Solis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Naranjo's Henry Cisneros got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Nino Matamoros sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tambor FC's Bryan Garita didn't even have to move. Ramon Viquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilmer Monge in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Picado saved Naranjo from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henry Cisneros to strike the kick off in the second half. Henry Cisneros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bryan Garita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bryan Garita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Solis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Francisco Echavarria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryan Garita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Solis in the 71st minute of the match. Virgilio Calderon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Paul Picado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Solis struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Bryan Garita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tambor FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
