Bryan Ayala was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Jaco AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bryan Ayala hit a great ball. Freddy Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darien Mesa in the 37th minute of play. If Pepe Santamaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Jaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Gomez. Adalberto Jimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Matarrita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Freddy Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bijagual were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Jaco AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
