Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emmanuel Tenorio kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emmanuel Tenorio in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Ramirez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddy Arce's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Ricardo Martinez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Olger Fallas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limon's supporters rose to their feet, but Olger Fallas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Martinez came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Limon's Ernesto Heredia. But to his dismay, Ernesto Heredia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 23 played minutes Ojochal got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Rivera. Freddy Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olger Fallas in the 26th minute of play. A hard shot 31 in the game by Freddy Arce from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Martinez managed to make a qualified save. Ojochal's players were relieved. In the 34th minute, Emmanuel Tenorio made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Ramirez. Limon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Olger Fallas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Martinez having to interfere. When Olger Fallas came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Limon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olger Fallas couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olger Fallas made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Pedro Piedra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pedro Piedra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Teodoro Ramirez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teodoro Ramirez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Piedra in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Pedro Piedra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Ramirez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Pedro Piedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Limon got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Segura. After recieving a nice pass, Ojochal's Bennie Campos tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Ojochal's Emmanuel Tenorio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodoro Ramirez. Teodoro Ramirez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Pedro Piedra scored 1-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Ramirez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodoro Ramirez made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Otilio Godinez sent off a good shot on target. Ojochal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
