Alejandro Moya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teodoro Ramirez. Limon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Valentin Madrigal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parrita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Madrigal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Madrigal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Teodoro Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Madrigal in the 38th minute of play. Teodoro Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Madrigal in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Valentin Madrigal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parrita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Madrigal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Limon's Olger Fallas got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Madrigal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Romulo Coronado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parrita and the Limon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Romulo Coronado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Emmanuel Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donald Centeno kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Ramon Huertas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Madrigal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Teodoro Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Valentin Madrigal came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Parrita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Madrigal couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Fallas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Madrigal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Fallas struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Teodoro Ramirez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parrita. For all the effort they put into the match, the Parrita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Limon.
