After 25 minutes of play, Uvita's Victor Calderon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Arrieta might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Guevara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But to his dismay, Rafa Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 82nd minute, Roy Chaverri made a precise shot to the right of Irvin Leiton. Playa Hermosa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Irvin Leiton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Calderon in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Playa Hermosa FC's Mainor Ortiz got a free kick in the 87th minute. Alfredo Sosa struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Irvin Leiton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uvita. Irvin Leiton didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 3-4. Uvita's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
