Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maikol Garro started the match with the kick off. Olger Osorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Ramirez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ojochal's Henry Guillen got a free kick in the 10th minute. Beto Ramirez was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Olger Osorio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olger Osorio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Olger Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Ramirez having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Ojochal's goalkeeper Beto Ramirez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Artavia. 31 minutes into the game, Victor Echeverri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ojochal AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ojochal the free kick. Victor Echeverri kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Alex Obando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maikol Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Fello Araya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ojochal and the Ojochal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fello Araya hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Olger Osorio got free in front of the goal in the 44th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Beto Ramirez was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olger Osorio made a kick off. Olger Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Beto Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Lizano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Obando having to interfere. When Ojochal's Maikol Garro in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ojochal AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Giovanni Rosales hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A hard shot 62 in the game by Francisco Lizano from a close distance when the talented Alex Obando managed to make a qualified save. Ojochal AFC's players were relieved. In the 63rd minute, Giovanni Rosales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Olger Osorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ojochal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olger Osorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ojochal AFC booed when Ojochal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Solis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olger Osorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Rosales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Beto Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A well placed Maikol Garro short distance shot in the 91st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ojochal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
