Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stanley Lopez made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Paraiso's zone, Donald Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Viquez came out of the goal and Donald Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Romulo Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraiso's Salvador Viquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Duarte in the 21st minute of play. After 25 played minutes Paraiso got a freekick which was hit by Andres Picado. Salvador Viquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley Villafranca, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Orotina got a freekick which was hit by Donald Duarte. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Donald Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orotina's supporters rose to their feet, but Donald Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Viquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donald Duarte took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Viquez. Salvador Viquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute, Stanley Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stanley Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Franklin Ulate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orotina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Franklin Ulate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Guerrero in the 79th minute of the match. Romulo Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Ulate having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Paraiso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Arguedas to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Donald Rojas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Orotina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Orotina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
