Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Ernesto Soto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Corredores FC's Adolfo Villalobos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Orotina's Efren Bonilla got a free kick in the 5th minute. Franklin Ulate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Padilla in the 9th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes, Corredores FC's Teodoro Quiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franklin Ulate came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corredores FC reached it. In the 13th minute, Donald Padilla made a precise shot to the right of Franklin Ulate. Orotina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donald Padilla in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Ulate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Stanley Villafranca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Duarte in the 24th minute of play forced Corredores FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Arias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanley Villafranca in the 25th minute. Aurelio Arias made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Stanley Villafranca sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Teodoro Quiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Corredores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Duarte came free, but Aurelio Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Padilla in the 45th minute of play forced Orotina's goalkeeper Franklin Ulate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Giovanni Sandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Donald Padilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Giovanni Sandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franklin Ulate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Padilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Claudio Esquivel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Donald Padilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Duarte in the 73rd minute of play. Donald Padilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Corredores FC's Donald Padilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Ulate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alain Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donald Padilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Franklin Ulate made a huge save. When Romulo Castillo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corredores FC's protests and gave Romulo Castillo a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Corredores FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Castillo. The long shot by Jesus Solera in the 90th minute really tested Franklin Ulate's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aurelio Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corredores FC's Donald Padilla got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Orotina fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Corredores FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
