San Ramon's Chico Luna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Rosales in the 11th minute of play. Chico Luna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Rosales in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Saul Rosales managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tilaran's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Rosales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Luna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Piedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keylor Rosabal having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Tilaran's Pepe Madriz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 42 minutes of play, Tilaran's Pepe Madriz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chico Luna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saul Rosales might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chico Luna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Rosales ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Rosales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tilaran's Beto Perez got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th match minute, San Ramon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Piedra to maneuver through the defense. Beto Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. San Ramon's Chico Luna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save San Ramon from getting a goal against them. Pepe Madriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Pepe Madriz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Luna. Manrique Jarquin charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manrique Jarquin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Ramon booed when Tilaran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Figueres didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Manrique Jarquin came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the San Ramon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manrique Jarquin couldn't finish the play.
