Santiago Blen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Manuel Merino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Molina having to interfere. Raul Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Masis in the 17th minute of the match. Adrian Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Madriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Chico Madriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Naranjo's zone, Manuel Merino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Molina came out of the goal and Manuel Merino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Masis in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Parrita's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Madriz came free, but Adrian Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Chico Madriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Loria in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
