Gonzalo Castillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Oviedo in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the game, Abel Lizano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guacimo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bijagual the free kick. A collision led to Guacimo FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Abel Lizano hit a great ball. Gonzalo Castillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Oviedo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 14th minute, Pepe Duarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berny Barahona was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 22nd minute Orlando Oviedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Castillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berny Barahona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepe Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Pepe Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pepe Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Berny Barahona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Guacimo FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Castillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Herrera. Orlando Oviedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Castillo having to interfere. Leonel Herreras short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Gonzalo Castillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute, Rene Vindas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Oviedo made a kick off. A hard shot 58 in the game by Minor Nuñez from a close distance when the talented Berny Barahona managed to make a qualified save. Bijagual's players were relieved. Bijagual's Berny Barahona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Bijagual from getting a goal against them. In the 60th match minute, Bijagual was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Arias to maneuver through the defense. When Orlando Oviedo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Bijagual fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Oviedo couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Giovanni Aguilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guacimo FC's Pepe Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Bijagual's goal looked a bit too open when Minor Nuñez came free, but Berny Barahona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Minor Nuñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlando Oviedo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonzalo Castillo. Gonzalo Castillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gonzalo Castillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Herrera in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Pepe Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guacimo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepe Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berny Barahona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berny Barahona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pepe Duarte in the 93rd minute. If Orlando Oviedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bijagual were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guacimo FC for a fine match.
