Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrei Matos started the match with the kick off. Donald Salas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Israel Ulloa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Puriscal's Andrei Matos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Ulloa was left in no man's land by his defense there! AD Hatillo's Israel Ulloa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Viquez in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Puriscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Lehman to maneuver through the defense. Donald Salas took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Israel Ulloa. Israel Ulloa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, AD Hatillo's Emilio Tenorio got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Benny Lehman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Israel Ulloa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Donald Salas came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Puriscal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald Salas couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Donald Salas sped through AD Hatillo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Israel Ulloa. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Tenorio made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Andrei Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puriscal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Andrei Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Donald Salas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrei Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Ulloa having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, AD Hatillo's goalkeeper Israel Ulloa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Salas. Israel Ulloa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donald Salas went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of AD Hatillo booed when Puriscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Viquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Andrei Matos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Israel Ulloa, passed just outside the right post. After 72 minutes, Emilio Tenorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AD Hatillo and the Puriscal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donald Salas came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Israel Ulloa could save by the left post. In the 74th match minute, Puriscal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Donald Salas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Puriscal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald Salas couldn't finish the play. If Andrei Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donald Salas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Ulloa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Matos in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Ulloa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Andrei Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Israel Ulloa was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Donald Salas might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Ulloa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donald Salas ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Puriscal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AD Hatillo.
